Stand Firm
“Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand.”
Ephesians 6:13 · WEB
A man of God does not wait for the day to become easy before he obeys. Scripture does not tell you to drift, hide, or hope the pressure disappears. It tells you to prepare and stand.
The evil day is not always dramatic. Sometimes it is temptation when you are tired, anger when you feel disrespected, fear when responsibility is heavy, or passivity when your home needs leadership. The armor was given before the battle, not during it.
Today, do not measure your strength by how you feel. Measure your stand by whether you obey God in the moment in front of you.
Stand today — Name the one moment today where you are most likely to fold. Decide now how you will obey when it comes.
Lord, strengthen me to stand today. Teach me to stop drifting and start obeying. Help me put on what You have provided and face this day with courage, humility, and faith. Amen.
Stand once. Then stand tomorrow.
